Tignes

The Espace Killy is France’s largest ski area and, with the Grande Motte glacier standing at 3656m, is one of the most snow-sure resorts in the Alps.

During the winter, the ski area is transformed and slopes of Tignes cover over 300kms (190 miles) of marked pistes. With plenty of runs graded from green to black and easily-reached areas of amazing off-piste, the skiing is suitable for all standards and ages. There are also two great snow parks in the area: one in Tignes and one in Val d’Isere.

This piste map gives you an idea of the massive area available for skiing in Tignes, and it doesn’t even include Les Boisses and Les Brevieres! The Val d’Isere area is located to the left of this map.
